Indian Trail Session {Amanda McQuade Photography} Charlotte Family Photographer

So, this session was originally suppose to take place in downtown Waxhaw, where there are cute brick buildings, train tracks, and weather-worn fences- ya, know, a photographers dream? But, when I pulled up there were probably 1500 runners, in an otherwise sleepy town... and, really, no one wants to pose for the camera with sweaty runners staring you down.

But, there are great fields around Waxhaw, that IS until you show up to the fields and set up, only to realize your standing on an ant hill... MANY ant hills. Forage on! Right? That's what I did,  ha ha =)

Seriously, this is an adorable baby, right?? I mean, hang the ant hills - there's a cute baby that needs to be photographed, people?!

And, of course she had several sweet siblings =)

This family was amazing. They were happy, loving, and so kind to each other. Really, just such a joy to photograph.

It did turn out to be a great shoot, minus the several ants I was bitten by. Thankfully, none of the little ones were bitten! Ugh, never going to Waxhaw for field photography again. Maybe, Monroe?
